Have you ever bought a new refrigerator or new furniture? Upon purchasing, you schedule a time and date for the delivery. You go home and what do you do? You move out your old items and make room for the new to be delivered, right? When you think about your new furniture, you feel excitement. You even picture how you will position the furniture. Maybe you even buy some new accessories – pillows, candles, and curtains to match. The bottom-line here is that you MAKE ROOM and PREPARE for the new.
So, how does this relate to other areas in your life? For a tree to continue to grow properly, it has to be pruned. The old, dead branches need to be cut away, to make room for new growth. The same is true for us. If we are to fit something new into our lives, we must make room for it. Everything takes up space, visible or unseen; it is taking up space. Whatever you desire may be right in front of you, at your fingertips. But if there is no room for it, it can’t come in.
What is taking up space in your world that if removed, would create space for the new, for that which you desire? It could be a mindset of fear, doubt, and worry that can be replaced with creative, refreshing, positive thinking. It may be in your finances. You know debt takes up space. So, get rid of the debt to make room for the abundance, for the savings, for the prosperity. It may be a relationship. It may be really simple, like some new clothes. Go through your closet and get rid of all the clothes that have dust on the shoulders.
Whatever it is that you desire, tangible or intangible, make room for it. Create the space for it. Then PREPARE for it!
