“Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.”
William A. Foster

Our current environment and culture of technology, accessibility, and speed have undoubtedly created a busy lifestyle. Business often forfeits intention. And the intention is what we need to have enjoyment and fulfillment in our lives. One definition for the word intention is “an aim, objective or the quality of purposefulness.” Based On those definitions, can you see how important having intention is? Without intention, we are left to default and tossed in the wind
.
Would I have had such enriching conversations without the intention? Maybe…maybe not. It’s uncertain. Without the intention, it would have been left up to luck and chance.
Try it for yourself. Be intentional about what you want out of your daily routines, your meetings, conversations, or any event in your life. Our lives are precious. Time goes by with or without intention, so why not try to get the most out of our lives. Today, I encourage you to set your mind on what you want to accomplish and what you want to have. Intend on having great conversations. Intend on having a steady sense of peace or joy. Intend on achieving the success you desire. See what happens when you live with intention. You will be pleasantly surprised.
